THANK YOU for your incredible responses to our previous Calls to Action to the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund (MNRTF). The DNR was awarded $5 million in 2022 thanks to your efforts.
However — There is over 25,000 acres of land at risk. This is all part of the Keweenaw Tip Recreation Area. By acquiring this land the DNR would:
→ Secure public access to over 25,000 acres, forever!
→ Secure miles of motorized and self-powered trails and create opportunities to expand
→ Protect wildlife habitats and migratory routes
→ Protect significant and unique geological and cultural history
→ Improve our quality of life and recreation-based economy
→ And so much more!
