Nicholas Wilson and KORC Awarded $10,000 by Brooks Running

Nicholas Wilson recently submitted an application video for Brooks Running "The Runfulness Project" and was ultimately awarded $10,000 in support of a pedestrian trail project in Copper Harbor. Nick proposes to connect significant outdoor recreation, historical, and cultural sites in the area with a pedestrian trail perfectly suited for those who like to trail run, walk, hike, birdwatch, pick berries, and more. KORC has begun working with local user groups, municipal officials, and trail experts to make Nick's vision a reality, increasing public access and enjoyment of the incredible outdoor spaces at the tip of the Keweenaw.
